Prof. Lee Wenju gave a lecture to the members of Young Entrepreneurs Group, Saku Chamber of Commerce and Industry. (Oct. 28, 2023)

          Members of Young Entrepreneurs Group, Saku Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Nagano Pref. Japan, visited TKU as a part of their Taiwan Study Tour. Prof. Lee gave a lecture entitled “Modern History of Taiwan and Japan: Past and Present of Musha Incident” to the members. Prof. Lee has long been involved in research and other activities related to the incident, armed resistance by the indigenous people against Japanese rule that took place in 1930. It was a very prosperous opportunity to discuss the incident, which is indispensable to the narrative of Japanese colonial rule over indigenous peoples, with the young entrepreneurs and managers who had come to Taiwan to deepen their understanding of Taiwanese society.
